I used these people twice when my starter began to fail. Since I had to replace the starter twice inside of 3 years I decided to replace it myself with a starter directly from Toyota.
I found out they had damaged my harness, cutting the original connector and soldering on a piece of wire into my harness and directly into the starter, making replacement impossible without cutting it all out.
I demanded they return my harness to factory OEM specs. My car was purchased new and no one else replaced the starter except for them. The hack job left bare wiring somewhere inside my vehicle which I suspect was causing starting problems.
The owner refused and basically kicked me out of his store telling me I had to find the OEM connection piece myself. By pure chance I was able to locate the proper piece of wiring from Scarborough Toyota and have that soldered back into my harness.
I suspect they damaged my original connector and instead of telling me, they hid the damage by cutting the connector out and splicing in junk wiring. The owner claimed this was 'better' than the factory connection yet the Toyota Techs I spoke was surprised by such a repair.
I'm not upset by the accidental damage to the clip. But hiding the fact and making improper repairs is reprehensible.
